  • Pollination is the process of transfer of pollen grains from anther to stigma of flower.
  • Fertilization is the process of fusion of male gamete produced in anther to with female gamete egg cell in carpel.
  • Self-incompatibility refers to the inability of fertile pollen to fertilize its own egg cell resulting in failure of seed set.
